This ground Ceylon cinnamon is ground fresh to order, and is made from true cinnamon sourced in Sri Lanka using C5 Special Grade quills harvested from 6–12-month-old trees. It has a pale golden color, fine texture, and a naturally sweet, delicate flavor that’s softer and more complex than cassia cinnamon.
Unlike common cassia cinnamon, Ceylon cinnamon contains significantly lower levels of coumarin, making it the preferred choice for frequent culinary use. Grinding Ceylon cinnamon preserves its aromatic oils and results in a warm, gently sweet spice that blends easily into both sweet and savory recipes.

The cinnamon smells amazing! I haven’t used it yet but i have smelled it and it’s very different from the Kirkland Saigon cinnamon I have. It smells so fresh and good. I can’t wait to use it!
