Black Hawaiian Salt
$10.99 – $19.99
Black Hawaiian sea salt, also known as lava salt, is a mineral-rich finishing salt traditionally made by blending sea salt with purified activated volcanic charcoal. This coarse salt is valued for its striking color, clean salinity, and versatility across culinary and body-care uses.
In the kitchen, coarse Black Hawaiian salt is most often used as a finishing salt for grilled vegetables, meats, seafood, roasted potatoes, eggs, and fresh salads. Its crunch and visual contrast make it especially popular for plating and table use. Because it’s coarse, it can also be ground to a finer texture as needed.
Beyond cooking, this salt is commonly used in bath soaks, body scrubs, and foot soaks, where activated charcoal is valued for its cleansing properties. The coarse crystal size makes it well suited for DIY body products where texture matters.

Not as course as the picture thankfully for me. Haven’t used yet.
This salt is one of our favorites—my kids ask for it often! It does have that hint of smokiness or flavor that’s slightly different from other salt, so it’s really nice sprinkled on food.
Haven’t tried this yet.
