These 5″ Ceylon cinnamon sticks are sourced from Sri Lanka, the traditional home of true cinnamon. This C5 Special Grade cinnamon is harvested from 6–12-month-old trees from the most recent harvest, producing pale yellow quills with a naturally sweet, delicate flavor.
Unlike cassia cinnamon commonly sold in grocery stores, Ceylon cinnamon contains significantly lower levels of coumarin, making it the preferred choice for regular culinary and beverage use. Its soft texture and layered quills are easy to break, grind, or infuse.
