These Ceylon cinnamon quillings are sourced from Sri Lanka and consist of the broken pieces and off-cuts from C5 Special Grade cinnamon quills. Made from the same true cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) as whole sticks, quillings offer the same sweet, delicate flavor at a more practical price point.
Quillings are especially well suited for uses where whole sticks are not required. They infuse quickly and evenly, making them ideal for teas, extracts, syrups, mulled beverages, and bulk cooking. Like all true Ceylon cinnamon, they contain significantly lower levels of coumarin than cassia cinnamon, making them a preferred choice for regular use.
Because of their smaller size, quillings are also easy to grind fresh as needed, offering flexibility for both culinary and beverage applications.
